http://www.tinahasit.com/tfol/20100320.txt In my world of total individuality we accepted each other, understood each other, helped each other. Sure we got mad and resented bad remarks, but we always talked it over and made up. I remember once grand mother had guests, they stayed long after dinner talking to each other. Finally granny told them "go home now because I'm tired and I want to go to bad". They left with smiles on their faces. Today people would be offended by such behavior, only because no one sees the other person's needs any longer. I believe we now live in a very egotistical world. A world where only ME exists and no one cares about the other. Social behavior has been changed through repetition of heavy metal music, television news always exalting the bad and punishing the good. A prostitute can write a book and someone will exploit her street experience for money. We live in a world of exploitation. Seems as though the only thing that counts to-day is money. Everybody wants but nobody is willing to give and help. Society has made stars out of criminals. Education has been dumb- down to create ignorance, for ignorance can be directed to destruction a lot easier. The flourishing middle class that enriched our country has been punished by corporate take over. The small family business that passed knowledge on has disappeared. We elected our representatives to protect our rights but seems as though instead of serving us and protecting us, once in power they reverse the role and want us people to serve them. How many masters can a person have. The middle class is now made to feed the poor with added taxes and serve their representative. I feel like we are going back in history to the ages where there were only kings and peasants. The people being the peasant and our representative setting themselves up as kings.
